In the Laboratory is isolated and diagnosed causes of bacterial abortions agents and serological methods at the livestock. in addition the important genital diseases which are CEM, Venereal Campylobacteriosis is diagnosed by bacteriological examination.
1-Bacteriological abort agents of cattle, sheep, goat and equidae are examined by conventional and serological methods.
2-Aborted materials are examined for Brucellosis, Campylobacteriosis and Salmonellosis bacteriologically.
3-Genital swaps of horses are bacteriologically are examined for Taylorella equigenitalis, Klebsiella pneumonia, and Pseudomonas aeroginosa.
4-Preputial and vaginal effluents/washings are examined for Bovine Venereal Campylobacteriosis by using microbiological methods.
5-Antibodies against Brucellosis in the blood sera of cattle, sheep, goat and man are detected serologically by using Rose Bengal Plate, Serum Tube Agglutination, Rivanol Agglutination and Complement Fixation Test.
6-Antibodies against Salmonellosis in the blood sera of horses, cattle, sheep and goats are detected serologically by using Tube Agglutination Test.
7-Antibodies against Campylobacteriosis in the blood sera of sheep and goats are detected serologically by Complement Fixation Test.
8-Antibodies against Chlamydiosis in the blood sera of sheep and goats are detected serologically by Complement Fixation Test.
B. SCOPE OF ACCREDITATION
Cattle Brucellosis tests was accreditated for RBPT, SAT and CFT by TURKAK according to TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

The laboratory works as a National Reference Laboratory for Bovine Venereal
Campylobacteriosis and Contagious Equine Metritis(CEM).
