Epidemiology Unit examines the causes, spread and effects of diseases that occur in Institute's field of duty, investigates the factors that play a role in the formation of diseases, monitors the spread of diseases and recommends control methods. It carries out studies such as recording the cases of diseases, analyzing data and determining trends. As a result of these studies, the infrastructure for the production and disease control national policies is created. This unit generally plans the necessary surveys, conveys the results to the General Directorate of Food and Control, and organizes in-service training on epidemiological issues.
