BACTERIOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS LABORATORY
Bacteriological Diagnosis Laboratory carries out studies on the evaluation of infectious animal diseases that cause or may cause problems in Türkiye in terms of their harm to public health and the economy, conducts research for their diagnosis and develops monitoring processes, and protects and controls animal diseases.
In Bacteriological Diagnosis Laboratory, the diagnosis of bacterial diseases is made according to internationally gold standard methods, especially the World Organization for Animal Health. Bacteriological Diagnosis Laboratory is included in the Quality Control System established by the Danish Veterinary Laboratory and the World Health Organization. In order to ensure the quality control of its diagnoses, it participates in proficiency tests at the standards determined by the Turkish Accreditation Agency. Main Duties of Bacteriological Diagnosis Laboratory
• Laboratory diagnosis of infectious bacterial animal (cattle, sheep-goat, horse, cat-dog, etc.) diseases (nervous, digestive, respiratory, locomotor system, foot, etc.) using conventional and molecular methods; Ensuring effective treatment and protective measures for diagnosed bacterial diseases,
• Diagnosing bacterial fish diseases within the Aquaculture Diagnostic Diseases Diagnosis and Research Laboratory,
Diagnosing bacterial bee diseases,
Planning and carrying out training programs for the animal health sector,
