​Doping laboratory was established in 2010 by the Higher Board of Commissioners at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forest in order to investigate the post-race blood and urine samples of purebred English and Arabic Horse, and for the detailed investigation of the samples.

The samples in the laboratory are extracted with different extraction methods depending on their pharmaceutical and chemical structures and analysed by GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, Orbitrap and ICP-MS. In 2012, the laboratory was accredited by Turkish Accreditation Agency.
